Services

Four AWS/Azure paths for architecture, migrations, automation, and practical security review. Pick the one that matches your problem; the engagement shape is the same.

Four paths. One engagement shape.

Every path is a focused, senior-led cloud and security engagement. You get a written Cloud Plan: the top things to fix, ranked by risk and effort, that your in-house team can act on.

The paths cover the work growing AWS/Azure teams most often need: designing or re-architecting the environment, moving workloads, automating day-to-day operations, and tightening security.

How scope works

The public Services page does not lead with hourly rates or package prices. Each path is scoped after review and quoted as a fixed-fee engagement based on environment size, risk, and the work required to produce or execute the Cloud Plan.

AWS Solutions Architecture

Your AWS environment grew from early decisions into tangled accounts, fragile networking, unclear identity, and rising costs. This path identifies what is working, what is risky, and what to fix first.

What this path covers

  • Landing zone and account structure.
  • IAM, SSO, VPC, and network topology.
  • Cost-aware architecture decisions.
  • Well-Architected-style review and architecture documentation.

What it does not cover

  • Application development or product engineering.
  • AWS support contract ownership.
  • Day-to-day operation of your environment.

You walk away with

A written Cloud Plan, current and target architecture notes, a prioritized remediation backlog, optional ADRs, and a clearer path to safer boundaries, better cost decisions, and easier team ownership.

Shape and scope

Usually 2–4 weeks: async review, focused working sessions, and a 60-minute readout. Fixed-fee quote after scope review.

Cloud Migrations

You need to move workloads while production keeps running. This path creates a migration plan that respects risk, sequences the work, and leaves the internal owners with runbooks instead of guesswork.

What this path covers

  • Lift, refactor, or replatform planning.
  • Wave ordering, cutover planning, and rollback paths.
  • Data migration approach and compatibility review.
  • Network and identity bridge during the migration window.

What it does not cover

  • Promises that every cutover will be invisible.
  • Application refactor work owned by your product team.
  • Long-term operation of source or target environments.

You walk away with

A migration plan, wave runbooks, risk register, rollback notes, post-migration hygiene checklist, and cleaner operating references for the team that owns the environment afterward.

Shape and scope

Usually 3–6 weeks for a mid-size migration: discovery, planning, cutover support if needed, and post-migration review. Planning is fixed-fee; cutover support is quoted separately.

Cloud Automation

Your Terraform has drifted, pipelines are fragile, and runbooks live in someone's head. This path turns repeated operational work into patterns your in-house team can understand, test, and maintain.

What this path covers

  • Terraform modules for the patterns you actually use.
  • CI/CD pipeline review or rebuild for platform work.
  • Runbook extraction, drift detection, and tagging standards.
  • Alert and observability hygiene.

What it does not cover

  • Application-level build and test pipelines.
  • Long-term ownership of your pipelines or runbooks.
  • Toolchain replacement for the sake of trend-chasing.

You walk away with

A written Cloud Plan, versioned modules, pipeline reference notes, runbooks, a handoff document, and repeatable patterns that reduce drift, manual toil, and single-person ownership risk.

Shape and scope

Usually 3–8 weeks, depending on toolchain complexity and how many modules, pipelines, or runbooks are in scope. Fixed-fee by module, pipeline, or runbook after review.

Security Compliance

You are worried about practical cloud risk: over-permissive IAM, exposed storage, logging gaps, weak detection, and resources nobody has reviewed lately. This path separates quick fixes from longer-window work.

What this path covers

  • Practical AWS/Azure security review across IAM, network, storage, data, identity, logging, and detection.
  • Findings ranked by realistic blast radius.
  • Quick fixes that can be remediated inside the engagement.
  • Optional CIS or AWS Well-Architected Security pillar review, framed as practical review, not attestation.

What it does not cover

  • This is not a SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001 audit. Digital Edge does practical hardening and readiness work. If you need an attestation, the audit itself belongs with a licensed auditor; we can help you prepare, but we do not run the audit or issue attestations.
  • Penetration testing, red-team work, or managed detection and response.
  • A credential guarantee or compliance product.

You walk away with

A written Cloud Plan, prioritized findings, remediation steps, quick-fix notes, a backlog for longer-window fixes, and clearer risk ownership for your in-house team.

Shape and scope

Usually 2–4 weeks of focused review, scoped access, working sessions, and a 60-minute readout. The Cloud Plan and in-engagement quick fixes are quoted as a fixed-fee engagement after review.

What we don't do — so you don't have to guess

  • We are not an audit firm. Our security work is practical hardening and review. If you need an attestation, we can help you prepare, but the audit itself belongs with a licensed auditor.
  • We are not a generalist MSP. We do not take over day-to-day infrastructure operations, run a 24/7 NOC, or staff an IT help desk.
  • We do not do application development. We work on the cloud platform, network, identity, security, and automation. We do not build product features.
  • We do not do big-consultancy discovery phases. The Cloud & Security Consultation is sized to produce a written Cloud Plan, not a 200-page report.

Every path is delivered by the founder, end-to-end. No handoffs, no junior delivery, no project-manager buffers.
